Now accepting bookings for 2027!
Effective Date: September 14, 2026
This policy provides a general summary of the cancellation and rescheduling terms used by Moreno Enterprise Group, LLC, doing business as Loíza Bar Co.
Each confirmed event is governed by a signed client service agreement. If this policy conflicts with the signed agreement, the signed agreement will control, subject to applicable law.
ALL PAYMENTS ARE NONREFUNDABLE
Loíza Bar Co. does not offer voluntary cash refunds. All retainers, service payments, rescheduling fees, travel charges, enhancement payments, and other amounts paid to Loíza Bar Co. are nonrefundable.
A refund will be provided only if Loíza Bar Co. cannot provide any qualified replacement and no contracted service is performed because of a life emergency affecting the company, or when otherwise required by applicable law.
BOOKING RETAINER
A signed client service agreement and a 50 percent retainer are required to reserve an event date.
The booking retainer is nonrefundable because Loíza Bar Co. turns away other business, begins event planning, and reserves staff and resources once a booking is confirmed.
A quote, proposal, invoice, approved estimate, or verbal discussion does not reserve an event date without the signed agreement and required retainer.
REMAINING BALANCE
The remaining balance is due 30 calendar days before the event unless otherwise stated in the signed agreement.
If an event is booked within 30 calendar days of the event date, the full balance may be due when the agreement is signed.
Failure to pay the remaining balance by the deadline may be treated as a client cancellation. Loíza Bar Co. may release the event date, cancel the scheduled services, and retain all payments already received.
CLIENT CANCELLATIONS
All payments made to Loíza Bar Co. remain nonrefundable when the client cancels an event.
Refunds will not be issued because of changes involving the client’s plans, attendance, venue, budget, personal circumstances, transportation, vendor availability, weather concerns, or other conditions outside Loíza Bar Co.’s control.
Canceling an event does not automatically create a rescheduling credit. A client who wants to move an event must qualify for and complete the client requested rescheduling process below.
CLIENT REQUESTED RESCHEDULING MORE THAN 30 DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT
A client may request one change to the event date when Loíza Bar Co. receives written notice more than 30 calendar days before the original event date.
The following conditions apply:
• The request must be submitted in writing to bookings@loizabarco.com
• The client must provide at least three preferred new dates
• The new event must occur within 90 calendar days of the original event date
• The new date is subject to staff, equipment, and scheduling availability
• Events that are already confirmed will receive priority
• Loíza Bar Co. is not required to move, cancel, or reassign another confirmed event
• The client may change the event date only once
• A rescheduling fee equal to 20 percent of the original contracted service total will apply
• Payments made toward the original contracted services will be credited toward the approved new event date
• The rescheduling fee is an additional charge and is nonrefundable
• Current pricing, package minimums, travel charges, staffing requirements, and service availability will apply
• The client is responsible for any increase in pricing or service costs
The original event date will be released after the request is approved in writing. Discussing possible dates does not reserve a new date or allow the client to hold multiple dates.
The new date becomes confirmed only after both parties sign a written amendment or new service agreement and Loíza Bar Co. receives the rescheduling fee and any payment required under the revised payment schedule.
If the client does not complete the process or the new event does not occur within 90 calendar days of the original event date, the credit will expire. All payments will remain nonrefundable.
CHANGES REQUESTED 30 DAYS OR LESS BEFORE THE EVENT
A request to cancel, postpone, or change the event date 30 calendar days or less before the event will be treated as a client cancellation.
All payments will remain nonrefundable. No payment credit or complimentary date change will be provided.
If the client wants to book a new date, the new event will require a new quote, signed service agreement, and payment according to the current booking terms.
This policy protects Loíza Bar Co. and its staff after schedules have been reserved and event preparation has begun.
CHANGES TO EVENT DETAILS
Changes to the venue, service location, service duration, guest count, menu, staffing, equipment, or scope of services may require a revised proposal, additional payment, or written amendment.
Changing event details does not automatically cancel the original agreement or guarantee that Loíza Bar Co. can accommodate the requested changes.
If a requested change makes the event unsafe, unlawful, impractical, or unavailable within our staffing or equipment capacity, the original agreement and cancellation terms will continue to apply.
SEVERE WEATHER AND OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL
Loíza Bar Co. will make every reasonable effort to attend and perform the contracted services. However, we will not require our staff to travel or work when conditions make attendance or service unsafe, unlawful, or impossible.
These circumstances may include:
• Severe hazardous weather
• A severe thunderstorm, tornado, hurricane, flooding, or winter storm warning affecting travel or service
• Official road closures or a declared state of emergency
• Government restrictions or emergency orders
• Emergency venue closure
• COVID or another communicable illness that makes attendance or service unsafe
• Widespread transportation or utility disruptions
• Other serious conditions beyond the reasonable control of Loíza Bar Co.
A routine weather forecast, light rain, or ordinary inconvenience will not automatically qualify. Loíza Bar Co. will consider official weather alerts, emergency orders, road conditions, venue access, and the safety of staff and guests when making the final decision.
If Loíza Bar Co. cannot attend or perform because of circumstances beyond the company’s reasonable control, no refund or payment credit will be issued. All payments will remain nonrefundable, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
LIFE EMERGENCY AFFECTING LOÍZA BAR CO.
A life emergency involving the owner, assigned lead, bartender, or another team member does not automatically cancel the client’s service.
Examples of a life emergency may include:
• A serious vehicle accident
• Emergency hospitalization
• A death involving the team member or immediate family
• Another critical personal emergency that makes attendance impossible
Loíza Bar Co. will make every reasonable effort to provide a qualified replacement bartender or team so the contracted service can continue as scheduled.
Loíza Bar Co. may assign qualified replacement staff when necessary to fulfill the service agreement. The assignment of qualified replacement staff does not constitute a cancellation and does not qualify the client for a refund or payment credit.
If the client refuses service from a qualified replacement provided by Loíza Bar Co., the refusal will be treated as a client cancellation. All payments will remain nonrefundable.
If Loíza Bar Co. cannot provide any qualified replacement and no contracted service is performed, the client will receive a full refund of payments made directly to Loíza Bar Co. for the services that were not provided. This is the only voluntary refund offered by Loíza Bar Co.
Any approved refund will be initiated to the original payment method within 10 business days. The client’s bank or payment provider may require additional processing time.
NO REFUND OR CREDIT FOR CLIENT CAUSED OR SAFETY RELATED TERMINATION
Loíza Bar Co. may refuse service to an individual or suspend or end the entire service when necessary for safety or legal compliance.
Reasons may include:
• Attempted alcohol service to a minor
• Failure to provide acceptable proof of legal drinking age
• Service to a person who appears intoxicated
• Lack of required venue approval or permits
• An unlawful alcohol arrangement
• Threatening, abusive, or dangerous conduct
• Unsafe working conditions created or allowed by the client or venue
• Interference with responsible alcohol service
• Instructions that would require Loíza Bar Co. or its staff to violate the law
These situations will be treated as a client caused termination, not a cancellation by Loíza Bar Co.
All payments will remain nonrefundable. No payment credit or complimentary date change will be provided.

Cancellation and date change requests must be submitted to:
